The Lampasas Unit of the Salvation Army, the Lampasas Mission, The Ministerial Alliance, the Lampasas Police Officers Association and Keeping It Local have been coordinating efforts to assist the persons in the 8 units affected by the River Park Village East Apartment fire last Thursday. Needs are many as either fire, smoke or water damage was experienced in all apartments. None of the apartment units will be able to be occupied until the entire building is repaired.
>On Tuesday, June 12 and Thursday June 14 donations can be brought to the Lampasas Mission at 410 E. 4th Street from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The following articles are needed:
- clothing
- household goods
- apartment sized furniture of all kinds
- Monetary donations
Representatives of each organization will be at the Mission at those times to assist. In addition, Keeping It Local is considering a benefit dinner, details to be determined.
