In the beginning of Exodus we learn that Joseph, his brothers, and the King have all died. The Israelites are still living in Egypt but have grown in numbers. (The Israelites are Joseph’s children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.)

In this week’s lesson we learn how God uses Isaac to keep His promise to Abraham. Each day we will learn more about God’s plan and promise to Abraham.
In last week’s lesson God asked Abraham to trust him even when it was hard. This week we are going to learn more about Abraham’s journey of faith.
Have you ever moved to a new town or school? How did you feel? Maybe you were scared, excited or even both. In our lesson this week God asks Abraham to move to a new country. He has to leave his family, friends and town.
