God
We believe there is one God who is creator, sustainer and ruler of the universe. All things were made by Him. God is eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are co-equal, co-eternal and are one God.

Jesus
We believe that Jesus is the Christ is the Son of the God. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life, and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory, and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

Holy Spirit
We believe that God, the Father, still speaks to His children today through His Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As followers of Christ, we seek to live under His control daily. He is our comforter and teacher.

The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. We believe it to be the ultimate authority in all matters of faith and Christian living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.
We hold the centrality of scripture, recognizing that each person has the freedom – and the responsibility – to study God’s Word within the community of the church.

Human Beings
We believe people are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life. We believe that God has a destiny for each believer and that His purpose for us involves the establishing of His Kingdom in our lives.
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a, 59:1, 2; John 15:16; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:10
The Church
We believe that the church is not a building or a denomination, but rather the believers themselves who make up the church. The word “church” originally meant “gathering”. We structure our community around the biblical idea of covenant, emphasizing not obedience to human authority but accountability to one another because of our shared obedience to Christ. We give thanks that each congregation, where Christ is present through faith, is truly the church, affirming as well that God’s church and God’s mission stretch from our doorsteps to the ends of the earth.

Salvation
We believe salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross as God’s offer of forgiveness, can we have an assurance of salvation and be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
