Personally the past couple of years been hard. It has been a time of loss, stress and isolation. I am not alone. Most of us have experienced loss, isolation and anxiety. Our world is spinning out of control and fractured.
We long to return to better times. To find “normal” again. We need healing and hope. For many Christmas is a time of good will towards our fellow humans. It is a time often filled with memories of happier times.
We have a greater need than warm fuzzy feelings. We need to hit the reset button. To return our focus to root of Christmas. We need the kind of healing that comes only from a personal encounter with the Christ.
Christ came to save us. He came to give us life. We are not just survivors; he wants us to have a life full of hope and blessing.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
